A Conveyor Blog?

I can't believe it's been a whole four months since I last gave you a new episode of Khalivison. Surely it's way to long to go without my dietary musings right? Anywho, I've changed jobs so I'm no longing working for the largest, lucrative, innovative technological company with a bibli-iconographic fruit for its logo. I work for a local charity as a 'part time' communications coordinator. It's been a steep learning curve, making the transition from being a guerrilla operator to being apart of a long standing institution but hey, the career experience is priceless. As the days go by I realise more and more that I've met so many great people on my journey, especially from university. Almost every conversation I have involves a eureka moment in my head as I connect the dots.

On the flip of starting a new job and finding my feet, it seems that I have partially neglected Up In The Ear. I know last time I was unsure what I were doing with it and whether I wanted to rebrand but I've gone into a process of scheduling. It's kinda like reaching the end of your trek through the forest, seeing the shoreline and asking yourself what's next?
I used to do film content in regards to interview but the process was much too time consuming, I did the podcast and mashup thing but wasn't regular with it, did the extensive writing reviews based upon my listening adventures but 90% of submissions don't really inspire me to write.

The question I ask myself constantly is where do I go next?
I planned it all out but it's kinda like retreading old ground. I feel like I've done it already. The organisation I'm in, I meet some diverse artists on a regular basis. Maybe a scheduled Up In The Ear isn't such a bad thing whilst I gain experience from working at my new job to apply to the business plan. The ultimate goal is to work for myself in some shape or form but whilst I'm here, my primary aim is to make a difference because I can see a lot of opportunity.

One more thing I endeavour to do is to post more episodes on here more often as writing helps to clear my head, and also to put me to sleep.

Peace
